After living and working in a number of cities in the United States and overseas, Mike Trial retired from the engineering industry to his family’s tree farm in Mid-Missouri, where he writes and manages the farm. Drawing on his wide experience with large engineering projects, Mike writes fiction and memoir with a gritty, yet sensitive characterization of people and setting, all infused with the sights and sounds, and threats and attractions of diverse cultures and peoples around the world.
